Returns Policy
Under the conditions set out in the EEC directives on distance selling. (Consumer Protection (distance selling) Regulations 2000) we offer the following:
A 7 day customer ‘cooling off’ period and right to cancel*
Right to return goods if not satisfied (provided they are still in ‘new’ condition)*
Written verification of purchases
Money back within 30 days of return of goods*
*These rights are not applicable to ‘made to measure’ (1) goods as these are marked as exceptions in the above regulations and returns in this instance will only be accepted if merchandise is proven to be defective or of an unacceptable standard.
Please note – If you are returning goods from overseas please ensure to mark the parcel as ‘RETURNED GOODS’ otherwise they will be subject to import duty

(1) Made to measure/order goods include the following: Kilts, Waistcoats/Vests or other tailored goods, Wool Strip Ribbon, Cut to length material, All engraved to order goods, all other items marked on the site as ‘made to order’.
Refunds: We can offer either full or partial refunds depending on whether a whole or part of an order has been returned or canceled. Refunds are made using Worldpay’s administration system and can only be issued in the currency that the customer has made their purchase in. Refunds can only be made up to the full amount of the original purchase. If the customer pays using a different currency from the one their bank statements are shown in then variations can occur due to exchange rate fluctuations. ScotClans cannot take responsibility for these fluctuations.
